Woohoo! Life Like Touring is so proud to announce that they are the Winner of ‘Best Live Children’s Entertainment’ at the 2016 Bio Island What’s on 4 Australia’s Junior Awards.
Octonauts Live! Operation Reef Shield is an original and locally written production crafted by Life Like Touring’s very talented Writer and Director, Theresa Borg!
The award is a testament not only to Theresa Borg’s fantastic work, but Life Like Touring’s dedicated team who helped make the show a success.
The stunning musical production saw Captain Barnacles and his team on an underwater mission to save Australia’s majestic Great Barrier Reef from the hungry Crown of Thorns Starfish.
It made its debut in 2015 and entertained Australian audiences while educating its fans, like in the popular TV show, the importance of protecting one of the world’s natural wonders.
It also received high praise from Sydney Morning Herald, who recognised its originality and fun, “an artfully constructed piece of children’s theatre, brimming with swift, episodic storytelling, engaging visuals and curious facts about life under the sea…4 stars”
