The cold is gone and the sun is back, take advantage of the light and do some of these things with your kids:
1. Go on a bike ride
Get outside and bike ride with your kids. Visit the local bike trail while catching some sun.
2. Cloud watching
Lie on the grass with your little ones and see what shapes you can make out in the clouds. Is that a cat?
3. Visit the farm
There’s nothing like meeting adorable farm animals. Your kids will enjoy milking the cows, riding ponies or feeding the goats.
4. Strawberry picking
It’s the season for strawberries, so grab a basket with your kids, head to your local strawberry farm and get picking. Then make an awesome strawberry treat when you’re done.
5. Fly a kite
Up, up and away! Watch your kite fly and soar in the sky. If you’re super keen you and your kids can get creative and make your own.
6. Start a veggie patch
Get your hands dirty and plant some seedlings with your kids in your garden. Your kids will be busy with something to take care of, and before you know it you’ll have some fresh vegetables.
7. Pitch a tent in your backyard
Save yourself and your family the hassle of camping and pitch a tent outside. It’s just as fun, everyone can help build the tent, and it’s just a few steps away from the house. Make shadow puppets with torches and sleep under the stars.
